Oh ya. About the hysteria. Malay call is "Histeria" . Just like the exact in English. Only the spelling change.
And "Kakak" mean sister, my friend say it sound like "кака", mean "shit".
And when Russian say "Kak dela?" , Malay speakers who don't learn Russian will think that you asking them if they know some one name Dila. Dila one of short name for calling "Adilah" , Malaysian name for a girl. It also can be call, Didi, Dilah, ila, lala. Depends on their comfortable, make sure don't call people with something they don't like. I think it is normal for close friends, but for certain people , it is offense.
Because, "Kak" is shortform for "kakak" which is kind of respect to call elder person we don't know with that. Or "Bang" , short for "abang" means brother. But, "abang" also can be use to call husband, well. When a Russian girl call Malay guy within "abang" , it is kind of flirting.
So, learn and speak Malay. People will pay attention to you you, just like when you talking to Malaysian that speak Russian.
